Our past
During what’s often called the Golden Age of cruising, many of Hollywood’s brightest stars chose to cross the seas with Cunard. Names such as Cary Grant, Elizabeth Taylor and Charlie Chaplin were among our guests. Our white-gloved service, magnificent ballrooms and the chance to discover the world in sublime comfort brought them back time and again – and those same hallmarks continue to inspire our guests today.
