Commodore Club

For Queen Victoria’s most commanding sea views, the Commodore Club is the place to be. This elegant lounge, framed by picture-height windows, offers ocean panoramas unlike anywhere else on board. You’ll find it at the bow of Deck 10, above the Bridge. Alongside a full drinks service, the signature highlight is a collection of Commodore cocktails, each inspired by seven of the fleet’s most distinguished Captains.

Early evening visits are complemented by canapés, while the atmosphere remains effortlessly refined, with gentle background music provided by a live pianist.

Grills Lounge

Guests staying in Princess Grill or Queens Grill Suites enjoy access to an exclusive bar of their own: the Grills Lounge. Reserved solely for these two accommodation categories, it can be reached via a private staircase from Deck 10, or by the cloud-motif lift, activated with your Voyage card.

Inside, settle into inviting sofas and plush club chairs as the Grills Lounge bartender prepares your chosen drink. Tea and coffee are complimentary, while other beverages are charged according to the menu.

Chart Room

With brushed gold accents and beautifully balanced symmetry, the Chart Room offers a striking tribute to the romance and geometry of Art Deco design. This distinctive bar sits just off the Grand Lobby on Deck 2, opposite Steakhouse at The Verandah.

It’s especially fitting on Gala Evenings, when tuxedos and evening gowns bring the spirit of a bygone era to life. The signature drinks list features bespoke Zodiac-inspired cocktails — ask for your birth sign, or follow your instincts and let your palate decide.

Golden Lion

Queen Victoria’s Golden Lion captures the warmth and easy charm of a traditional English pub, complete with hearty dishes and draught beers. Stepping inside feels as comforting as finding a favourite local — only at sea.

Relaxed dress is welcome throughout the day, even on Gala Evenings, and entertainment includes live music and pub quizzes. At lunchtime, a complimentary menu is served featuring fish and chips, pie and mash, and the signature Cunard Ploughman’s. The bar selection includes Cunard ales and a tempting range of Bloody Marys.

Churchill’s Cigar Lounge

Named for Sir Winston Churchill, whose fondness for cigars was legendary, Churchill’s provides a comfortable haven for cigar enthusiasts. You’ll find this richly styled lounge on Deck 10, positioned between the Yacht Club and the Commodore Club.

If you haven’t brought your own, the humidor offers a tempting selection, complemented by a bar service featuring well-chosen spirits and single malt whiskies. Churchill himself was a familiar figure on Cunard’s Transatlantic Crossings, and even today it’s easy to imagine him here, cigar in hand, putting the world to rights.

Midships Bar on Queen Victoria

Midships Bar

Tucked just off the Grand Lobby on Deck 3, Queen Victoria’s Midships Bar specialises in two enduring favourites: gin and fizz. With a mix of lounge seating and bar stools — the bar fanning out like a peacock’s tail — it’s a quiet corner made for conversation over a perfectly poured drink.

Choose from classic and flavoured gins, including Cunard’s own 4 Queens range, or opt for the sparkle of Laurent Perrier Champagne. Gin- and Champagne-based cocktails also feature, offering fresh twists on timeless favourites — and perhaps the chance to discover a new signature of your own.

Yacht Club on Queen Victoria

Yacht Club

When other venues begin to quieten, the Yacht Club keeps the evening alive. By day, this nautical-themed lounge hosts Insights talks, choir rehearsals, and dance classes — but after dark it takes on a very different energy.

Home to karaoke and late-night DJs, the Yacht Club stays lively long after the rest of the ship has settled down. Relax on low-slung sofas and tap along to the music, or join fellow guests on the dance floor and embrace the holiday spirit.

Pavilion Bar on Queen Victoria

Pavilion Bar

The Pavilion Bar is made for open-air moments, from sunlit afternoons by the pool to quieter evenings beneath a sky full of stars. By day, it’s a perfect holiday setting — an al fresco drink in hand as the warmth of the sun settles in.

Wherever you’re sailing, fresh air is never far away here. Choose from beers, wines, and a range of low-and-no alcohol options. Try the fruity notes of a Cunard Cooler or the ginger lift of an Atlantic Mist as you soak up the serenity of this relaxed outdoor bar.

Winter Garden on Queen Victoria

Winter Garden

Just off the Pavilion on Deck 9, Queen Victoria’s Winter Garden is the only venue of its kind in the Cunard fleet, making it an essential stop for a drink on board. Enclosed beneath a glass atrium, it feels bright and airy even when skies are grey.

If you enjoy the sensation of being outdoors while inside, there’s nowhere better. Informal and inviting, it’s ideal for coffee during the day or something stronger as evening arrives. Live music and quizzes are regular features, while a full drinks list — including a wide selection of speciality martinis — ensures there’s always something to savour.
